All of our educators and instructors are certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) and are healthcare professionals and providers, which means they are experts in the field. Our instructors are made up of Public Health Educators, Registered Nurses, Physicians, and Nurse Practitioners. HEAL provides an

Dr. Richiez is a Faculty member at several universities within San Diego and Riverside County. She is Certified Health Education Specialist, Advance Public Health Nurse Leader, and Clinical Specialist. She has over 10 years of teaching experience in higher education as well as at the community level.

Bianca is passionate about baking. She brings creativity and innovation to health baking and eating. She is a community health worker with a focus and passion for educating and advocating for her peers and youths.  During sessions, whether in groups or individually, she actively participate alongside you, so you never feel like you’re alone.


Dr. Carolle Jean-Murat, MD

Dr. Jean-Murat, a board-certified and primary care MD and Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). led a successful private practice in San Diego from 1982 to 2005. She has served as clinical mentor for pre-med and medical students at UCSD and SDSU, respectively, and as clinical mentor for nurse practitioners at the Cal State University Long Beach School of Nursing.  A gifted intuitive and spiritual healer, Dr Carolle comes from a family of healers, shamans, herbalists and midwives in Haiti.  She was educated in top universities in Haiti, Mexico, Jamaica, and the US and thus brings a multicultural and diverse socio-economic knowledge to her approach to medicine and healing.
