ECG & Pharmacology This course is a 1 day, 8-hour course that covers basic electrophysiology, normal ECG measurements, basic and advanced arrhythmias, and basic ACLS/PALS drug usage and routes of administration (the required knowledge before attending ACLS or PALS).
Basic Arrhythmia and Treatment: This is a 1 day, 8-hour classroom course covers basic electrophysiology, normal ECG measurements, basic and advanced arrhythmias, and medication treatment of arrhythmias with routes of administration. Included in the treatment discussion are the use of Defibrillators, Pacers and Synchronized Cardioversion monitors.
ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in group sessions with small, group learning and skills testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.
