As a non-profit interprofessional collaborative practice organization we bring people together in an effort to eliminate health disparities and inequities through advocacy, awareness, education, leadership, and cultural responsive services. To this end, Health Education Advocacy Leadership (HEAL), Inc. implements programs to address pressing public health needs, fosters private sector support for health promoting activities, access to healthcare, and assist communities build the capacity to empower, promote health, and research translation that leads to action that addresses and advocates for the need of the community.
Our courses are designed with the learner in mind. Our classes are animated, engaging, relaxing, and allow for maximum learning and understanding of course materials.

How to Get Ready: The Course covers a lot of material in a short time. Please bring your BLS Provider Manual with you to class if you have already purchased one. We also encourage you to bring a copy of the ECC Handbook. You will be using these materials throughout the course. Make sure that you review the provider materials and required text.
What to Wear: Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a sweater. You will be practicing skills that will require that you work on your hands and knees, bend, stand, and lift. If you have any physical conditions that might prevent these activities, please tell one of the instructors. The instructor may be able to adjust the equipment if you have back, knee, or hip problems. Also, please tell your instructor if you are allergic to latex.
